Xbox Woot: Xbox 360 Games and News

Microsoft has announced the Gears of War 2 release date for November 2008. Holy Crap! That’s only 8 months away. It may seem like a long time now, but trust me.. before you know it, it will be summer already and this bad ass, much anticipated sequel will be in our hands. Here’s what MS had to say about it:

“Gears of War 2″ (Epic Games). “Gears of War 2″ is the sequel to the 4.5 million-selling blockbuster that redefined the third-person tactical action game genre. “Gears of War 2″ continues the story of Marcus Fenix and Delta Squad in an epic saga of survival, loss and
retribution. Developed by Epic Games exclusively for Xbox 360, “Gears of War 2″ launches this November.

You can bet that the GoW message boards will be flying with this news. The people over at TeamXbox.com put together a wishlist for GoW2. They want more backstory, more varied multiplayer modes, 4 player co-op play, better dialog, a better lobby system, and more varied environments.

I say if we even get a couple of those, then this will be a top selling game for sure.
