Grand Theft Auto IV hits the market for Xbox 360 next week on April 29. Rumors of pirated copies being distributed online have surfaced. Don’t buy a pirated copy, there’s no telling what you might get.

GTA IV is structured similarly to previous games in the series. The core gameplay consists of elements of a third-person shooter and a driving game, affording the player a large, open environment in which to move around. On foot, the player’s character is capable of walking, running, swimming, climbing and jumping, as well as utilizing weapons and basic hand to hand combat. Players can steal and drive a variety of vehicles, including automobiles, boats, helicopters, and motorcycles.

This game is an open environment game, which means you are free to roam around the city as you like. Kill who you want. Rob who you want. And drive your car as fast as you won’t. The only one that can stop you is the police

This game is going to be one of the biggest game releases of all-time. Stores like Best Buy have already confirmed midnight openings. It may even be a bigger event then when Halo 2 came out. If you haven’t pre-ordered this game yet, you might want to do some last minute calling and get your copy before it’s too late.
