Microsoft Updates Xbox 360

Despite the notable distinction of having the best use-friendly game interface, Microsoft is still reinventing its Xbox 360 to provide gamers with an even more exciting experience. The underlying Live basis will basically still remain the same. Microsoft will focus more on making their features more convenient to use, declutter the market, and enhance the social experience in the gaming environment.

One of the most noticeable changes can be found in its navigation. Its top-level channel now includes six menu items including the Games, the Spotlight, Primetime, My Xbox, Community, and Videos. Each of these has different functions in its submenu section. For example, on its Primetime features, virtual gameshow is said to be “king”. In fact, some vents will even have live shows that offer prizes.

Meanwhile, in its Xbox Live section, you can expect a lot of additional content. At the E3 2008, Xbox has announced that Netflix can now be viewable by Xbox Live Gold members. This particular deal enables Netflix subscribers to view movies on their Instant Queue on Xbox 360. Take note that you need to go to the Netflix site in order to add or remove shows from the Instant Queue.
